Privacy Policy
TwinFit ("the App") is operated by Typeone Technologies LLC ("we", "us"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account information: your name, username, securely hashed password, hashed recovery key, and session information. Email addresses may remain on accounts created under our previous authentication system. We use Clerk only for legacy-account migration and compatibility; new accounts use TwinFit's username-and-password login without email verification.
- Photos you provide: photos of yourself ("twin photos") and photos of clothing items that you upload or capture with your camera. These are required for the App's virtual try-on features to work.
- Generated images: virtual try-on images created from your photos.
- Style and usage data: your style preferences, closet items, outfits, and how you use the App, so we can provide recommendations and improve the service.
- Purchase information: subscription tier and credit balance. Payments are processed by Apple; we never see your payment card details.
How we use your information
- To provide the App's core features: virtual try-on, closet management, styling recommendations, and shopping assistance.
- Your photos are sent to third-party AI processing services solely to generate your requested try-on images.
- Your photos are never used to train AI models without your explicit consent.
- To operate, secure, and improve the service, and to communicate with you about your account.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers needed to run the App (cloud hosting, image storage, authentication, and AI image generation), each bound to use it only to provide their service to us.
Data retention and deletion
You can delete individual photos, closet items, and generated images inside the App at any time. You can delete your entire account from the App's privacy settings; this removes your photos and personal data from our systems. You may also request deletion by emailing support@twinfit.app.
Security
Your photos are stored in private cloud storage accessible only through authenticated, time-limited links. We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your data in transit and at rest.
Children
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and update the effective date above.
